Put a little sparkle in your Christmas with Patchalot's 2008 free pattern, CHRISTMAS SPARKLER
|
I love to share the quilts that my
blogging friends are making with
this pattern! Take a look at all
the variations!
Karen from Atlanta, GA created her primitive
version of Christmas Sparkler. Her selection
of homespuns give this little quilt a very
unique look. You can find Karen at her blog,
SEW PRIMITIVE, and also look for the link to
her website while you are there.
Libby lives in Carlsbad, CA, and manages
to jump into action when her creative bug
bites! Be sure and check out Libby's blog,
A SIMPLE GIRL, and watch for her creative
bug to bite you!
Yvonne's little beauty has very nice additional border attached. Yvonne said she mostly used Cranberry Wishes by Kansas Troubles for this project. Yvonne and her cute kitties blog at Quilting Down the Stairs.

Mary whipped together her little Sparkler in no time! Mary's motto: "May your sorrows be patched and your joys be quilted". Amen to that sister! Her blog is QUILT HOLLOW

Both of these cheerful little quilts, above, were made by Julie at THROUGH THE BARN DOOR
in California. Julie enlarged the block to 6 inches in the first quilt. In the second quilt she
changed the positions of the red and green fabrics. Plus those cute borders! Don't you just
love it when people take matters into their own hands? Nice job Julie!
From the northern reaches of Canada comes
a Christmas Sparkler to warm the heart!
Janet, MRS. SEW 'N SEW, in Calgary, Alberta,
added another color element to her little quilt.
It seems more frosty to me!

Mary B. from St. Michael, MN finished up her Christmas Sparkler. Love the red border! Mary and I share 4 grandchildren and we both quilt. We have the best things in common! Her blog is NANA B QUILTS

Claire, from Newport News, VA doesn't have a
blog, but wanted to join our party of Sparklers. I
am so glad that she did. Thanks Claire! This quilt
will look great any time of year!
Dot from RANTALA RAGS, gave her Sparkler a
different look by using bandana fabric for
the red and blue. The green check in the
snowballs combine to create a quilt with
quite a Western appeal! Can't you see this
little quilt tucked in a picnic basket?
The rich dark colors of Karen Diane's fabric make her Friendship Stars pop! Karen blogs from Florida as the Mistress of Leehaven. Catch her energy at LIVING LIFE AT LEEHAVEN
